CDFA Survey for Upcoming Specialty Crop Block Grant Solicitation
The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) is seeking stakeholder input to help structure upcoming listening sessions and this summer’s Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP) solicitation. CDFA is asking growers, food hubs, and other specialty crop stakeholders to complete a short survey to help the department understand industry priorities, emerging challenges, and opportunities for future grant funding. In 2025, Central Coast members Saticoy Food Hub and Harvestly were among the award recipients; past grants have supported resource conservation districts, winegrower alliances, farmers market groups, and projects in nutrition education, marketing and promotion, food as medicine, and school gardens.
